GoodID is a multifunctional digital wallet that offers a secure storage solution for your documents and loyalty cards. It enables users to utilize their stored ID documents for in-person and remote identification, electronically sign contracts and documents, and securely share data to access services conveniently.

GoodID serves as an audited electronic communication tool, facilitating remote customer identification in compliance with anti-money laundering laws and MNB regulations. With a focus on user privacy, the application ensures that personal data remains exclusively on the user's phone through the Zero Knowledge app model.

Developed by the team behind the Hungarian eID, Japanese passport, and Romanian health card chip technologies, GoodID upholds stringent security standards including Common Criteria and ISO certifications. Adhering to Hungarian National Bank guidelines on remote customer identification, the platform employs GoodID SecureBox technology to securely store data from application-recorded documents and cards on the device's secure storage element.

Through GoodID, users can electronically sign documents either within the application or via the ittírdalá.hu e-signature portal. This streamlined process eliminates the need for purchasing certificates and enables legal compliance comparable to traditional pen-and-paper signatures.

Additionally, GoodID simplifies check-in procedures for hotels and guesthouses by providing digital document scanning capabilities. Over 1000 accommodation establishments in Hungary leverage GoodID to streamline guest data collection processes, enabling users to expedite check-in procedures safely and efficiently.

Beyond document scanning, GoodID allows individuals to verify their identities with various service providers like banks, telecoms companies, and utilities without relying on passwords. Notable features of GoodID include document scanning (via OCR or NFC), data copying to the clipboard for quick sharing, digitization of loyalty cards with barcode recognition, selfie-based identification, electronic document signing, convenient website logins, mobile and desktop browser support, QR code pairing for seamless cross-device use, and customizable identification profiles.
