GoodID serves as an audited electronic communication tool, facilitating remote customer identification in compliance with anti-money laundering laws and MNB regulations. With a focus on user privacy, the application ensures that personal data remains exclusively on the user's phone through the Zero Knowledge app model.

Developed by the team behind the Hungarian eID, Japanese passport, and Romanian health card chip technologies, GoodID upholds stringent security standards including Common Criteria and ISO certifications. Adhering to Hungarian National Bank guidelines on remote customer identification, the platform employs GoodID SecureBox technology to securely store data from application-recorded documents and cards on the device's secure storage element.
